Eventiry offers flexible pricing plans. For organizers, we charge a platform service fee per ticket sold (7%, minimum $0.75, maximum $50). This all-inclusive fee covers payment processing. Tickets

Can I get a refund if I can't attend an event?

Refund policies are set by individual event organizers. When purchasing tickets, you'll see the organizer's refund policy. Many organizers offer full refunds up to a certain date before the event. To request a refund, contact the event organizer directly through the event page, or reach out to Eventiry support if you need assistance.

How do I transfer my ticket to someone else?

If ticket transfers are enabled by the organizer, you can transfer your ticket from your Eventiry dashboard. Go to 'My Tickets', select the event, and click 'Transfer Ticket'. Enter the recipient's email address and they'll receive instructions to claim the ticket. Note that some events may have transfer restrictions or deadlines.

What happens if an event is cancelled?

If an event is cancelled, you'll receive an email notification with information about refunds. Most organizers automatically process refunds for cancelled events. If you don't receive a refund within 5-7 business days, contact the organizer or Eventiry support for assistance.

How do I access my tickets?

After purchasing tickets, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tickets attached. You can also access all your tickets anytime by logging into your Eventiry account and going to 'My Tickets'. From there, you can view ticket details, download PDFs, and access QR codes for check-in.

    Attending Events

How do I check in to an event?

When you arrive at the event, present your ticket QR code (on your phone or printed) to the check-in staff. They'll scan the code to verify your ticket. For virtual events, you'll receive a link to join the event via email before it starts. Make sure to check your email (including spam folder) for event access information.

How do I contact event organizers?

You can contact event organizers directly through the event page. Look for the 'Contact Organizer' button, which allows you to send a message. Organizers typically respond within 24-48 hours. For urgent matters, you can also reach out to Eventiry support.

How do I find events near me?

Use Eventiry's location-based search to find events near you. Enter your city or allow location access, and browse events in your area. You can also filter by category, date, and price. Save events you're interested in to your account for easy access later.

    For Organizers

Can I sell tickets for free events?

Yes! Eventiry supports free events. You can create events with $0 tickets, and there are no platform fees for free events. This is perfect for community meetups, workshops, and other free gatherings. You can still collect attendee information and manage check-ins for free events.

How do I promote my event?

Eventiry provides several built-in marketing tools. Share your event link on social media, send it via email, or use our email campaign features. Your event will also appear in Eventiry's event discovery pages. For best results, start promoting 4-6 weeks before your event and use multiple channels. Check out our marketing guide for detailed strategies.

    Can I create recurring events?

Yes! When creating an event, you can set it up as a recurring event with daily, weekly, monthly, or custom intervals. Each occurrence can have its own ticket sales and capacity limits. This is perfect for weekly meetups, monthly workshops, or series events.

What types of events can I host on Eventiry?

Eventiry supports all types of events including conferences, workshops, meetups, concerts, sports events, webinars, virtual events, and hybrid events. You can host physical events at venues, virtual events online, or hybrid events that combine both. There's no limit to the types of events you can create!

How do I set up different ticket types?

When creating your event, you can add multiple ticket types in the 'Tickets' section. For each type, set the name (e.g., 'Early Bird', 'General Admission', 'VIP'), price, quantity limit (if any), and sale dates. You can create as many ticket types as needed, each with different pricing and availability.

Can I use promo codes for discounts?

Yes! Eventiry supports promo codes that you can create in your event settings. Set discount amounts (percentage or fixed), usage limits, and expiration dates. Share codes with your audience via email, social media, or other channels. Attendees can apply codes during checkout.

How do I get paid as an event organizer?

After your event, funds are automatically transferred to your connected bank account. Transfers typically take 1-2 business days after the event ends. You can set up your payout information in your organizer dashboard under 'Payment Settings'. We support bank transfers and other payment methods depending on your location.

Can I integrate Eventiry with other tools?

Yes! Eventiry offers API access and integrations with popular tools like email marketing platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools. Check out our API documentation or contact support to learn about available integrations and how to set them up.

    What happens to my data?

Eventiry takes data privacy seriously. We only collect information necessary to provide our services. Your data is used to manage your account, process transactions, and improve your experience. Venue Management

How do I book a venue for my event?

Browse available venues on Eventiry using our venue discovery page. Filter by location, capacity, amenities, and price. When you find a venue you like, click 'Book Now' and select your event dates and times. The venue owner will review your request and confirm availability. Once confirmed, you'll complete payment for the booking deposit.

How do I list my venue on Eventiry?

Sign up as a venue owner and create a venue listing. Add photos, description, amenities, pricing, and availability calendar. Once your venue is approved, it will appear in search results. You'll receive booking requests from event organizers and can accept or decline them. There's no cost to list your venue - you only pay a platform fee when bookings are completed.

What fees apply to venue bookings?

For venue bookings, Eventiry charges a 10% platform service fee (minimum $0.95) on the total booking amount. This all-inclusive fee covers payment processing. These fees are transparently displayed before you complete your booking. Venue owners receive the full booking amount as the charges are transferred to customers.

How do I check venue availability?

Each venue listing shows a real-time availability calendar. You can see which dates are available, booked, or blocked. When booking, select your preferred dates and times, and the system will automatically check availability. If your requested dates aren't available, you'll see alternative options or can contact the venue owner directly.

How does the venue booking process work?

The booking process is simple: 1) Browse and select a venue, 2) Choose your dates and times, 3) Submit a booking request, 4) Venue owner reviews and confirms, 5) Pay the deposit (typically 30% of total), 6) Pay the remaining balance 7 days before the event, 7) Check in at the venue on your event date. You can communicate with the venue owner through the built-in messaging system.

When do venue owners get paid?

Venue owners receive payouts 7 days after the event check-out date. The payout includes the full booking amount as the charges are transfered to custonmers. Payments are processed automatically to your connected Stripe account. You can track all bookings and payouts in your venue owner dashboard.

Can I cancel a venue booking?

Cancellation policies vary by venue and are clearly stated in each venue listing. Most venues offer full refunds if cancelled more than 30 days before the event, with partial refunds for later cancellations. Check the venue's cancellation policy before booking. To cancel, go to your bookings dashboard and follow the cancellation process.

How do I manage my venue's availability calendar?

As a venue owner, you can manage your availability calendar from your venue dashboard. Block dates when your venue is unavailable, set different pricing for peak/off-peak times, and sync with external calendars like Google Calendar. The calendar automatically updates in real-time, preventing double bookings.

Can I set different pricing for my venue?

Yes! Venue owners can set flexible pricing models including hourly, daily, weekly, or fixed rates. You can also set different prices for peak times, weekends, or special dates. Add optional fees like cleaning fees or security deposits. All pricing is clearly displayed to potential bookers before they make a reservation.

    How do venue reviews work?

After an event at a booked venue, both the organizer and venue owner can leave reviews. Reviews help build trust and help future users make informed decisions. Reviews include ratings and written feedback. You can respond to reviews to address any concerns or thank guests for positive feedback.

What information should I include in my venue listing?

A complete venue listing should include: high-quality photos, detailed description, capacity and layout options, amenities (WiFi, parking, catering, etc.), location and accessibility information, pricing and booking terms, availability calendar, and house rules. The more information you provide, the more likely organizers will book your venue.

Can I book a venue for a recurring event?

Yes! When booking a venue, you can select multiple dates for recurring events. The venue owner will review all dates and confirm availability. You'll pay for all bookings upfront or according to the venue's payment schedule. This is perfect for weekly meetups, monthly workshops, or series events.
